Gay is not the Way.

First let it be perfectly clear that hating someone for what they believe or how they live their lives is never appropriate. We are called to love the person but not their inappropriate beliefs or behaviors. It is when the beliefs and behaviors of those we disagree with begin a movement of transformation from good to bad, normal to abnormal or natural to unnatural that then we must stand guard. Who decides the good from bad or natural to unnatural? The answer is God.

There is no faith that can honestly say that homosexuality lines up with their God’s view of an appropriate lifestyle. Not Muslim, Jew or Catholic accepts homosexuality as being fine with their belief of righteous living. In Christianity, it is said, “Don’t you know that wicked people won’t inherit the kingdom of God? Stop deceiving yourselves! People who continue to commit sexual sins, who worship false gods, those who commit adultery, homosexuals, or thieves, those who are greedy or drunk, who’s use of abusive language, or who rob people will not inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Co 6:9-10 The key words in this passage of scripture that we should ALL focus on is “People who continue to commit…” That applies to everyone regardless of sexual orientation.

We all must repent and leave our sinful lives behind. If you do not believe in any God or if you have been able to manipulate your faith to accept your inappropriate lifestyle, then do not try to convence others to do the same. To live and let live means that you do not promote what you can obviously see in the laws of nature to be wrong. A man should not promote his sexual relationship with a child, animal or another man. To do so is to have an unrealistic belief that there are no negative consequences to our inappropriate actions. Stay away from sexual sins. Other sins that people commit don’t affect their bodies the same way sexual sins do. People who sin sexually sin against their own bodies. 1 Co 6:18

So if we dare to open the door to beliefs that are not right, who will dare close it to any. Determining what is right is not subjective. We must have absolutes in life, if not then society will move toward anarchism. Homosexuality was recognized many years ago as a sexual disorder. Now it is mainstream. To those who currently practice other kinds of recognized disorders today, that gives them hope. We must stand guard at the doorway and clearly say that gay, or any other sinful behavior, is not the Way. Love your gay neighbor but not their sexual behavior. Love the sinner, not the sin. Stand for something pure and good, or fall for anything. Changing the laws of man does not change the laws of nature, or of God.

Remember do not hate, but educate. There are things that are just wrong, regardless of political correctness. If you are unsure then seek the truth, seek God.
