April 28, 2008We struggle with combating our, as they say, demons. Do we live in the flesh or in the spirit? There is a great movement on deliverance in today’s religious communities from demons, curses and spiritual roots that have grown into full trees that are overshadowing our live. There is a great importance in freeing us from strongholds. Seeking a deliverance experience is something to be cautious about. Is it about us freeing ourselves or Christ? We are to seek a spiritual awakening that frees us from the root of all evil and places us at the base of the cross. Why was the Apostle Paul not delivered from the thorn in his side? All our suffering as believers should draw us closer to Christ. We are better off suffering and drawing closer to God than being delivered and feeling good about our experiences. Let’s renew ourselves daily.
