September 2010Nine years and still ground zero is a hallow ground with no signs of a memorial. It took significantly less than nine years to build the World Trade Center Complex that was destroyed in moments by radical terrorist on September 11, 2001.
Americans know well that success is not only measured by how tall you stand, but how fast you get up after you fall. The failure of completing a structure at ground zero is shameful to the lives lost. We owe the fallen the honor of a memorial. We have to show the world that America can come back fast, fortified and better than before. To not do so only emboldens the terrorist and those who sympathise with their views.
Some in Washington should figure it out that a new structure at the ground zero site can help win the war against terrorism. To demonstrate the ability to recover, rebuild and revive is terrifying to any enemy.
